I feel profoundly connected to the dual role of educator and choreographer because, for me, they are not separate callings — they are two expressions of the same purpose. My work has always lived at the intersection of artistic excellence and community transformation. Teaching and choreographing are both acts of shaping human beings, shaping stories, and shaping possibility. As a choreographer, I build worlds through movement. As an educator, I build people through movement. The two feed each other. The studio becomes a place where technique, history, identity, and imagination coexist. The classroom becomes a laboratory for artistic inquiry, cultural memory, and personal empowerment. This is the lineage I come from, and it is the lineage I continue!
